NSW: Man's death brings NSW road toll to eight
SYDNEY, Dec 30 AAP - The NSW holiday road toll has reached eight following the deathof man in a crash near Broken Hill.
Police said that at about 4pm (AEDT) yesterday a 59-year-old Broken Hill man was drivinghis MG soft top coupe on Silverton Road, about 12km from Broken Hill when the car leftthe road.
The vehicle went into a ditch, rolled and came to rest upside down, killing the driverinstantly, police said.
The man's death has taken the national road toll for the holiday period up to 40.
