SA: Ghan train crashes with truck north of Adelaide =2

Great Southern Railway chief executive Tony Braxton-Smith said police and investigators
had taken control of the crash site.

He said the line was expected to be cleared later today and none of the company's other
services were likely to be disrupted.

"As I understand it the damage sustained to the train is minor," Mr Braxton-Smith told ABC Radio.

"Only the locomotive has sustained some damage and another locomotive is on its way
to haul the train back to Adelaide."
